L. D. Hall

Funeral services for L. D. Hall, 91, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Al Taylor will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Arledge Ridge Cemetery. L. D. passed away at his residence early Tuesday, January 8, 2013.
L. D. was born Dec. 23, 1921 in Kosse, Texas, the son of Morris Hall and Ella Champion Hall. He attended Kosse High School and was a US Army veteran of WWII. He served in the American Theater Campaign, and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign in the Philippines. L. D. married Mary Ruth Graves on July 4, 1942 in Kosse, Texas. He was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing and hunting. L. D. was an independent car dealer and owned and operated L. D. Hall Motors in Bonham for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
L. D. is survived by wife of 70 years, Ruth Hall of Bonham, TX, son, Kenneth Hall and wife, Cindy of Bonham, TX, two daughters, Linda Hall and Judy Hall, both of Bonham, TX, two sisters, Jean Hegefeld of Marlin, TX and Juanita Pringle of Kosse, TX,
4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Glenn White, Ron Callahan, Doug Ragsdale and Greg Allen.
