Kenneth Odell Eldridge

Funeral Services for Kenneth Odell Eldridge, age 86, of Cooper, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Moores Chapel Cemetery in Fannin County, Texas. Kenneth passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cooper, Texas.

Ken was born December 27, 1935, in Bonham, Texas, the son of Curtis Roy Eldridge and Florence Myrtle Whitworth Eldridge. He was married to Helen Marie Franklin for 62 year and 1 day prior to her passing. Ken was a wonderful son, loving husband, devoted father, and awesome grandpa. He loved the Lord Jesus and called on Him often, therefore, we know he now resides in heaven and is reunited with his family, especially his wife Helen who he missed every day since she dies. To quote him, at 86 years old, "I am almost grown", "I am tougher than I look", and he never said goodbye, just said "See Ya"! Ken is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jim Eldridge; sister, Anita Eldridge Bob; son in law, Ken Kerby; and grandchildren, Rebekah Watson and Sawyer Watson.

He is survived by daughters, Nola Eldridge Watson and husband Billy, Connie Eldridge Thomas and husband Donald, and Diana Eldridge Kerby; son, Scott Eldridge and wife Pam; brother, Thomas Eldridge; sisters, Oleada Eldridge Morris and Deborah Eldridge Forgy; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Bill Watson, Kenny Watson, Don Thomas, Shelby Thomas, Jonathan Kerby, and Baric Eldridge.
