Kenneth "Kenny" Dale

Funeral services for John Kenneth "Kenny" Dale, 82, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 8, 2015 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Kyle Beard, Steve Mohundro and Jim Dale will officiate. Burial will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery. Kenneth passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 5, 2015 at his residence.
Kenneth was born April 9, 1933 in the Moores Chapel Community of Fannin County, Texas, the son of John Lafayette Dale and Merle Hendricks Dale. He was a 1950 graduate of Bonham High School and a US Navy veteran of the Korean War (1953 – 1957). Kenneth married Helen Kuykendall on June 2, 1953 in Bonham. A dedicated servant of the Lord all of his life, he was a longtime member of Northside Church of Christ. He was a member and past President of the Kiwanis Club, Director of the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce and member of the Order of the Arrow in Boy Scouts. Kenneth was Plant Manager (Ret.) for General Cable in Bonham and an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Jeanette Logan.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Helen Dale of Bonham, Texas; two
sons, Jeff Dale and wife, Patti of Carrollton, Texas and James Alan "Jim" Dale and wife, Cindy of Denton, Texas; four daughters, Judy Dale Brewer and husband, Donnie of Dodd City, Texas, Jill Beth Temple of Paris, Texas, Janet "Jan" Woodruff and husband, Mykol of Bonham, and Joy Dale Morgan of Bonham; sister, Karen McCraw and husband, Bobby of Bonham; grandchildren, Michelle (Ross) Griffith, Michael Brewer, Jenny (Mark) Olvera, Katie (Taylor) Harris, Schuyler Dale, Tyler Dale, Jesse Dale, Sam Temple, Ellen Temple, Ryan Woodruff, Ashley Woodruff and Jani Taylor; great Grandchildren, Logan Griffith, Preston Harris, Drew Harris, and Brody Olvera; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael Brewer, Sam Temple, Tyler Dale, Jesse Dale, Ryan Woodruff, Ross Griffith, Taylor Harris and Mark Olvera.
Memorials may be made to CASA or Northside Church of Christ.
