Memorial services for Karla Dee Ryser, 51, of the Allens Chapel Community, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 2, 2015 in St. James Lutheran Church in the Allens Chapel Community, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Pastor Walther will officiate.
Karla was born June 30, 1963 in Athens, Texas, the daughter of Edgar Neil Ryser and Margie Nell (Junell) Ryser. She graduated from Honey Grove High School and then attended Grayson County College where she received her nursing degree in 1992. Karla practiced as a Registered Nurse and truly cared for each and every patient she encountered. She was a very passionate and caring nurse who put her patient care at top priority.
Karla passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2015 at her home not far from the Church, with family and friends at her side. She was met in paradise by the Grace of our Lord, on Monday morning, April 27, 2015 by her loving parents, who were vital members of the local Lutheran community.
Karla is survived by, her daughter, Lynette Phipps & husband, Dustin;
three granddaughters, Kenzi, Kelci, and Jaeci Phipps; sister, Karen Frazier; three nephews, Blake, Kollin, and Kyle Frazier; and one
niece, Charlee Crutcher, and husband Chris
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church (14394 E. FM 1396, near the intersection of FM 1396 and CR 2980/2750, Allens Chapel Community).
In lieu of flowers, Karla asks that you remember her with donations to Cypress Basin Hospice of Paris, Texas or any animal shelter.
