Karie Hambrick

Funeral services for Mrs. Karie Hambrick, age 44, of Sherman, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Wise Funeral Home Chapel, 219 W. Sam Rayburn Dr. Bonham, TX. Burial will follow at the Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, TX. Rev. Mike Burt will officiate. Karie passed away on June 24, 2019 in Sherman, TX at her residence.

She was born on March 6, 1975 in Garland, TX. The daughter of David Lee Pippin and Gloria Jean Williams. She was a Nimitz High School graduate in Irving, TX and was a 911 operator for ADT. She married Curtis Hambrick on July 19, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She enjoyed playing softball in her early years and became an avid reader of Stephen King novels and loved cutting hair. She also enjoyed watching the ID Discovery Show on the Crime Network.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Hambrick, of Sherman, Mother and Step-father, Gloria and Robert McGilvray, Father and Step-mother, David and Karen Pippin, Grandmother, Jo Ann Lawson, Sons, Tyler Blake Hambrick and Jayce Wayne Hambrick, Sisters, Karla Michelle King and husband Brian, Shelley Williams and husband Kevin, Brothers, Mike McGilvray and wife Jacquie, and Scott McGilvray.

Pallbearers will be Mike McGilvray, Brian King, Tyler Hambrick, Jimmy Williams, Tommy Williams, and James Laughlin.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 7-8 PM Friday, June 28, 2019.
