Judy Elaine Dawson

Memorial inurnment services for Mrs. Judy Elaine Dawson will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery under the care of Wise Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas.  She passed away at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas on August 22, 2021.

Judy was born on April 2, 1954, in Landstuhl, Germany, the daughter of Robert H. Bowman and Nellie May Thornton Bowman.  She was a graduate of the R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas and later received her Associates Degree from the Tarrant County College.  She married David Dawson on July 21, 1973, in Farmers Branch, Texas.  She was active with the C.E.R.T. team in Fannin County and loved riding horses with the "Lady Outlaws" and spending time with her family.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, David C. Dawson; son, Robert Dawson and wife Traci of Saginaw; daughter, Holly Lawrence and husband Kent of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren David T. Dawson and wife Kelsey, Briar Wood and wife Ariana, Braddock Dawson and wife Storm, Kevin Lawrence and girlfriend Ashley and Harrison Ingle and Zachary Ingle; great grandchildren, Addison Wood and Carter Wood; extended family and a host of friends.
