Juanita Rue Duffy

Graveside services for Juanita Rue "Oma" Duffy, 92, of Dallas, formerly of Bonham, will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Elwood Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Chaplain Mark Posey will officiate. Juanita passed away early Monday morning, July 4, 2016 at Signature Pointe on the Lake in Dallas.
Juanita was born March 24, 1924 in the Elwood Community of Fannin County, Texas, the daughter of Arvill F. Rue and Eula McRae Rue. She married Joseph Andrew "Opa" Duffy on March 13, 1943 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and he preceded her in death Sept. 25, 2012. Juanita was operations manager for many years. She was a matriarch to many and a role model to all. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Rodney Rue.
She is survived by her Sons, Jim Duffy and wife, Donna of Addison, Texas and Bruce Duffy and wife, Brigitte of DeSoto, Texas; Brother, Billy Mack Rue and wife, Linda of Phoenix, Arizona; three
grandchildren, Diane Duffy, Randy Duffy and Deena Duffy Martin; three great grandchildren, Brittney Nash, Laney Martin and Liam Andrew Duffy; Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
