Graveside services for John Noel Simpson, 62, of Bonham, will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 in Carson Cemetery, Ector, TX, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. John passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.
John was born Dec. 19, 1949 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Thomas M. Simpson and Helen M. Lord Simpson. He was employed in the housekeeping department at Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center. John enjoyed fishing and working on anything. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Joel Richard Simpson and a sister, Alice L. Johnson.
John is survived by his sons, Phillip Simpson and wife, Krista of Ravenna, TX, Johnathan Simpson and wife, Jennifer of Bonham, TX, and Jacob Simpson and Chancey Morgan of Ravenna, TX, daughter, Michelle Miller and husband, Chris of Bonham, TX, brother, Daniel E. Simpson of Topeka, KS,
sisters, Eileen M. Langley and husband, Larry of Topeka, KS, and
Peggy A. Woehr and husband, Gerald of Overbrook, KS, 9 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Simpson, Johnathan Simpson, Jacob Simpson, Daniel Baker, Chris Manis and Chris Jones.
