Joe Anne Dunlap

Joe Anne Dunlap, 89 years blessed, born May 4, 1935, in Bonham, Texas. She was the daughter of George Dunlap, Jr and Lina Maver Johnson Dunlap. She received her formal education in the Bonham Independent School District. As an adult she worked in the home health care field. Joe Anne passed onto her eternal resting place on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Joe Anne is preceded in death by her parent's; twin brother Joe; husband, James Morrison, Sr; 9 brothers; and 6 sisters. She mourned the loss of her daughter Minnie, and her son's David; James Jr; William "Bill"; Peter; and Joe.

Those left to cherish her memories and her daughter Verna Peeples of Houston, Texas. Her son's Phillip Morrison, Sherman, Texas; Kenneth Morrison, Sr (wife) Rhonda of Cedar Hill, Texas; and Curly Morrison Sr of Denison, Texas. Her brother's Arlie Dunlap of Arlington, Texas; Thaddeus Dunlap, Dallas, Texas; Gregory Dunlap, Amarillo, Texas. Her sister's Velma Dunlap, Bonham, Texas and Charlene Shaw (Husband) Cliford, Bonham, Texas.

Joe Anne or Granny as she was known will be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and many friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX. Please join the family on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 12:00pm at the North Side Church of Christ, Bonham, TX. Visitation will be 1hr prior to service. Burial will follow at Gates Hill Cemetery, Bonham, TX.
