Jody Ann Allen

Memorial Services for Jody Ann Allen, age 87, of Bonham, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at First Congregational Methodist Church in Bonham, Texas. Bro. Mark Posey will officiate.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Jody passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

Jody was born January 11, 1935, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Joe Mangiarcina and Katy Mangiarcina. Jody went to nursing school and passed her boards in October of 1956. She was a Registered Nurse for 44 years. She married the love of her life, Claude Herman Allen, on July 1, 1956. They recently celebrated 66 years of marriage. Jody enjoyed shopping and collecting recipe books. Her passion was cooking and entertaining. She was a loving and wonderful mother and wife Jody will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Allen; brothers, John Mangiarcina, Tony Mangiarcina, and Joe Mangiarcina; and sister, Catherine Wigington.

Jody is survived by husband, Claude Allen of Bonham, Texas; son, Mike Allen of Bonham, Texas; grandchildren, Nikki Stieben and husband Brad, Heather Allen, Matt Allen, and Justin Allen and wife Erin; great grandchildren, Zack Stieben, Haley Stieben, Carly Stieben, and Paxton Allen; daughters-in-law, Donna Ramsey and Heidi Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
