Funeral services for JoAnn Green Woodall, 79, of will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2014 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Lee Armstrong will officiate. Burial will follow in Gober Cemetery in Gober, Texas. JoAnn passed away, Monday, September 15, 2014 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
JoAnn was born July 29, 1935 in Gober, Texas, the daughter of Sidney Lowell "Pete" Green and Helen Ann Jones Green. She was a graduate of Gober High School. JoAnn married James K. Woodall on June 12, 1953. She was a member of Victory Life Church in Durant, Oklahoma. JoAnn enjoyed sewing, taking pictures and working with photography on the computer. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their ballgames. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheri Ann Woodall in 1971 and her parents.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, James K. Woodall of Bonham, Texas;
three sons, Jim Woodall and David Woodall, both of Bonham, Texas and
Lee Woodall and wife, Monica of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Jimmy R. Green and wife, Sheila of Gober, Texas; one sister, Barbara Winkler and husband, Don of Bonham, Texas; five grandchildren, Kim, Eric, Miles, Meagan and Michaela; extended family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Victory Life Church Food Bank, 3412 W. University Blvd., Durant, Oklahoma 74701.
