Jimmy Doyle Roberts

A memorial service for Jimmy Doyle Roberts will be held Saturday, December 2 at 2 pm at Wise Funeral Home Chapel.

Jimmy passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023 at his residence in Bonham, Texas. He was born on February 23, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to Freddy Roberts and Ernestine McCraw. Jimmy graduated from Dodd City before living in Dallas and then moved to Seattle, Washington where he mastered the art of bartending. His 20 years in Seattle, he lived life on his own terms and lived every day to the fullest. He was an avid traveler enjoying sights across the country and to Peru with multiple visits to Hawaii. He was a loyal volunteer and a great collector of all things.

Jimmy is survived by sister Rita Kirkpatrick and husband Paul of Dodd City, Texas; brother Leslie Roberts and wife Celeste of Bonham, Texas; brother Justin Roberts and wife Jammi of Honey Grove, Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Nathan Kirkpatrick and wife Tina; Jessica Taylor and husband Lance; Cayleb Roberts and Lorelei Roberts; Tyler Roberts and Aubrey Roberts; aunts and uncles Nancy and Wayne Barber, James Brown, Billy Ray Brown, and Billy Roberts and wife Sue; and several cousins.
