Interment will follow at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, TX. Jimmy passed away on October 15, 2018. He was born October 10, 1933 in Sweetwater, TX to Clifford C. Justiss & Hallie Lynch Justiss.

JJ married Melba Joyce Morgan on January 18, 1953 in Roby, TX. Jimmy was employed at General Cable (GC) for 42 years beginning his successful career as a technical operator.  He was recruited to help establish multiple cable plants internationally and he holds three patents in the field of telecommunications.  He received numerous promotions concluding as a development engineer in the Research & Development Department at Corporate Headquarters.  JJ enjoyed hunting, fishing and vacationing in Colorado with his family and friends.  Although, you could routinely see him struting around Bonham on his bicycle grinning ear to ear with his beaming smile, perhaps he was best known around town for his green thumb as he demonstrated year after year with the most majestic yard imaginable.  He spent his life serving others from something as simple as holding the door to helping repair a house to driving those to church that had no other way.  But, he would say his greatest achievement in his life was his beautiful family and his family will tell you by putting God first in his life they learned living a servitude life was a fulfilled life... "I'm so proud of you!"
