A memorial family gathering for Jewel Irene Miller Woody, 65, of Telephone, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Congregational Methodist Church in Bonham. Bro. Mark Posey will officiate. Jewel passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX.
Jewel was born August 11, 1952 in Fullerton, Nebraska, the daughter of Charles Elmer Miller and Elsie Adraiana Medbury Miller. She was a high school graduate and attended college. Jewel was a health care provider for Jordan Home Health and attended Congregational Methodist Church. She was a very caring and loving mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the most important people in her life; her world revolved around them. Jewel would do anything she could to help others, whether it was family, friends or a total stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Larry Miller and Clinton Miller and a grandson, Layton Bledsoe.
Jewel is survived by her son, Jesse Favors (Amanda) of Sherman, TX; daughters, Leah Bixenmann, Ariel Ingram (Marcus), and Terra Bledsoe (Irman) all of Telephone, TX; sister, Elynn Colfack (Ralph) of Goodyear, AZ; brother, Dewayne Miller (Janice) of Windsor, CO; grandchildren, Keri Ingram, Dakota Ingram, Jayden Ingram, and Kiyah Ingram, all of Telephone, TX, Logan Dessaint of Whitesboro, TX, Amy Bledsoe and Wyatt Bledsoe of Telephone, TX, Joseph Michael and Devin Michael of Sherman, TX; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
