Jerry Ray Tredway

Funeral services for Jerry Ray Tredway, 88, of Sherman, Texas, formerly of Fannin County, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2022 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel.  Hospice Chaplain Dennis Noblett will officiate.  Burial will follow in Windom Cemetery.  Jerry passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 22, 2022 at his residence.

Jerry was born November 9, 1933 in Windom, Texas, the son of Jearl Tredway and Johnnie Faye Tolbert Tredway.  He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War.  Jerry married Nadine Chance on Aug. 24, 1968 in Garland, Texas.  He worked for Mrs. Baird's Bakery in Dallas, Texas for 31 years, retiring as Assistant Plant Engineer.  He was a Baptist and enjoyed gardening.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Jearl Tredway and Johnnie Faye Tolbert Tredway Halliburton and two sisters, Mary Muriel Simpson and Nancy Joy Springer.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 53 years, Nadine Tredway of Sherman, TX; sons, Jerry Ray "JR" Tredway, Jr. (Sherri) of Sherman, TX, Scott Reilly Tredway (Donna) of Blossom, TX and James Kenneth Lee (Anita) of Sherman, TX; daughter, Barbara Lynne Sullivan; brothers, Bobby Keith Tredway (Frances) of Allens Chapel, TX and Alton Glen "Giggs" Tredway (Emily)of Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Jared Tredway, Josh Tredway, Ashley West, Jessica Bays, Austin Bays, , Reilly Tredway, Ben Taylor, Amy Wolfe, Melissa Gordon, Brandi Stephens, Dusty Lee, Jeremy Chandler, and Josh Chandler; 22 great grandchildren; numerous extended family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Chandler, Reilly Tredway, Richard Stephens, Josh Tredway, Jared Tredway and Dusty Lee.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday night, March 24, 2022.
