Jerry Richard Knight

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Knight, age 73, of the Lannius Community, will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at the Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Rev. Roy Burpo and Rev. Trent Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dodd City Cemetery. Jerry passed away on November 4, 2016 at TMC Hospital in Denison.

Jerry was born on June 13, 1943 in Lannius, the son of Charles Richard Knight and Lanora Belle Knight. He was a Dodd City High School graduate and was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation and was a member of the Lannius Church of God.

He is survived by:
Son and daughter-in-law: Jacob Knight and Franchesca of Wills Point
Son: Keith Knight of Mesquite
Son: Joshua Knight of Dallas
Brother and sister-in-law: Ronnie Knight and Rebecca of Lannius
Grandchildren: Kyler and Jahret Knight
Two nephews: Chad and his wife Renea Knight and Dustin and his wife Keysha Knight
Extended family and a host of friends

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 8th, 2016
