Graveside services for Betty Jean Williams, 72, of Arlington, formerly of Dodd City, will be held at 10:00 AM Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 in Dodd City Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Ed Gatlin will officiate. Jean passed away late Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at Medical Center Arlington.
Jean was born Nov. 12, 1940, the daughter of Alva P. Cate and Lena Mae Robinson Cate. She married Kelley Wayne "KW" Williams on Oct. 30, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, and he preceded her in death Sept. 11, 1998. Jean loved helping others and volunteered at the Fannin County Crisis Center, Habitat for Humanity and the Fannin County Children's Center. She was a homemaker and enjoyed a number of hobbies. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bonham. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Kimberly Wolff.
Jean is survived by a son, Brad W. Steelman and fiancé, Lora Fournier of Watauga, Texas,
daughter, Donna of Cedar Creek, Texas, brother-in-law, Don Neece of Paris, Texas, grandchildren, Kassi Hunsuckle, Braydon Steelman, Trinity Steelman and Donny Bendever, nieces, nephews, and cousins, Joe and Bill Baker, Mark and Angie Pilkenton, Anita Flowers, Ross and Diane Bigby, Mary Johnson, Stacie and Robert LaBelle, Carol Quimby, Samantha and Clint Ringo, Josh and Destiny Quimby, Aaron, Clint and Trudy Davis, Cindy and Frank Davis, Gwynn and Shawn Fuller, Christen and Sara Fuller, Patrick and Crystal Johnson, extended family and friends
Pallbearers will be Brad Steelman, Mark Pilkenton, Frank Davis, Kassi Hunsuckle, Braydon Steelman and Patrick Johnson.
