Jean Kinkade Ashlock

Funeral services for Jean Kinkade Ashlock, 85, of Bonham, will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018 at Living Word Church of God under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Pastor Eddie Prince will officiate.  Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery.  Jean passed away at her residence Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018.

Jean was born Aug. 30, 1932 in Ladonia, Texas, the daughter of Roy Kinkade and Verba Mae Faith Kinkade.  She married B. W. Ashlock on June 16, 1962 in Durant, Oklahoma, and he preceded her in death Dec. 14, 2001.  Jean was an inspector for Texas Instruments for many years.  She was a member of Living Word Church of God. Jean enjoyed oil painting, cooking for her family, quilting and working crossword puzzles.  She was a "Pink Lady" at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham (now TMC-Bonham Hospital).  Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James Edward Pyles (1960) and son, Kenneth Pyles (1990)

Daughters, Reba Sudderth and husband, Ronny and Barbara Oliver and husband, Don, all of Bonham, TX and Sharon Taylor and husband, Bill of Willis, TX

Son, Ray Ashlock and wife, Elaine of Bonham, TX

Brothers, Roy Kinkade, Jr., Don Kinkade and wife, Ann, and David Kinkade and wife, Linda

Grandchildren, Stacey Martinek and husband, Tom, Shannon Sudderth, David Oliver, and wife, Trisha, Donnette Peebles, Gary English and Cindy, Kenny English and Shelly, Kirk English and Tanna, Kristi Bradshaw and Scott and Todd Ashlock and Amanda

Great grandchildren, Logan Hickman and husband, Ezekiel, Jase Head, Lynzi Head, Dylan and Jacob Martinek, Nathan Peebles, Chase and Megan Oliver, Elizabeth, Sarah, Zane and Zach English, Emilie English, Ryan English, Kendra English, Austin, Alix, Aubrey and Alan English, Spencer Roberts, Isaiah Taylor and Colin Ashlock.

Numerous great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ezekiel Hickman, Jeff Kinkade, Larry Don Kinkade, Michael Kinkade, Tom Martinek and Chris Sudderth.
