Jamey Dale Sisk was born on April 7, 1980 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, Texas. He passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 14, 2017. Jamey is the son of Mike and Eloise (Shepherd) Sisk of Bonham. His maternal grandparents were Laron D. and Margaret (Dale) Shepherd who preceded him in death and his paternal grandparents were Dr. Walter and Irene (Brown) Sisk. Dr. Walter Sisk preceded him in death. Jamey leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Mike and Eloise, a brother, Jon Sisk, and wife, Amber of Whitewright, and children, Hannah and Hunter and great nephew, Kaden and grandmother, Irene Sisk of Bonham. Jamey is also survived by numerous beloved aunts and uncles and cousins.
Jamey was a 1999 graduate of Bonham High School. He received his degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2007. He was on the Dean's list in college and was a member of Kappa Alpha for academic achievement. Jamey was employed at Brookshires in Bonham for 16 years where he received numerous customer service awards.
Jamey was a Boy Scout and attended the National Jamboree in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. He loved to read his Bible and joined the church and was baptized when he was 11 years old. He loved to listen to country music and Christian music. He loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings. He especially loved to go to Beavers Bend with his family at Thanksgiving. Jamey's good heart and sweet spirit will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Memorials may be made to Women Rock or the Fannin County Children's Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Shelton and Rev. Larry Melhart officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday.
