James Derwood Rhoades

Funeral Services for James Derwoord Rhoades, age 86, of Windom, Texas will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dodd City Cemetery. James passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

James was born June 21, 1936, the son Fred Franklin Rhoades and Mildred Wright. He retired from the Airforce on November 30, 1973.

James is survived by his wife of 51 years Doris Jean Rhodes, children; Timothy James Rhoades, Debra Rae Luker, James Lindsey Sawyer, Karen Lynn (Rhoades) Bain, Kenneth Glenn Rhoades, Darla J. Bennett, Brenda A Rhoades Capezzuto, Wayland Glen Rhoades, 21 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 7, 2022 in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel.
