James Michael Phillips

James Michael Phillips (aged 67), son of Mary Jo Phillips (nee Mayfield) and George N. Phillips, Sr., died suddenly on April 12, 2022. Mike, as he was known, had the biggest heart ever, was fun to be around, and thoroughly enjoyed life. He and his wife, Leslie were married for 33 years, lived in a home on Lake Conroe, and enjoyed time on the water and the shore. Mike had a long and successful career with Pool Corp in the Woodlands, working with pool builders and mentoring young employees. He retired in about 2020. Mike is survived by his wife, Leslie Phillips (nee Edwards), his brother George N. Phillips, Jr., three nephews, Scott, Jonathan, and Payton and a niece, Avery. He will be laid to rest at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone, Texas, on Sunday April 24, 2022, at 2 PM. Friends and family are welcome.
