JAMES M. HENSON
Funeral services for James Martin Henson, 76, of Ector, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2011 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dee Morton will officiate. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery in Ector. James passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.
James was born Aug. 15, 1934 in Bonham, Texas, the son of James Henry "Buck" Henson and Pauline Lucille Telford Henson. He attended schools in Leonard and China Grove and was a member of the Army National Guard. James married Edith Mae Mason, Dec. 1, 1951 at Ector United Methodist Church. He was a licensed electrician and worked for Fannin County Electric Co-Op for many years, retiring as superintendent in 1996. James was a member of Ector United Methodist Church and was a lay speaker. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, James was a devoted caregiver to his wife, Edith. He loved traveling, gardening and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Jason Fox, Dan Essary, Colton Whisenhunt, Dan Reamer, Danny Bowman and Steve Locke. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Stuart Hall, Ryan Henson, David Henson, Damion Watts and Kevin Cox.
