James Douglas "Doug" Haggard, age 34, of Edhube, Texas, was called to his heavenly home on August 2, 2019 at his residence in Edhube, Texas. Master James Douglas Haggard entered this world on January 5, 1985 to Leroy and Michelle Haggard. He is a 2003 Bonham High School Graduate and was employed as a machinist by Bronco Manufacturing in Anna, Texas since 2003. Doug leaves behind precious memories with his beloved family, parents, Leroy and Michelle Haggard, brothers, Dustin Haggard, Chad Haggard, and Rocky Haggard, sister, Stephanie Langston and husband, Terry, nephews, Baze, Mason, Kimber, Carter Haggard and Chris Langston, nieces, Cheyenne Pollan, Kacey Norfleet, C Jae Haggard, and Bailey Haggard, several uncles, aunts, cousins, great nieces & nephews and extended family and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tommy and Hazel Haggard, and Tump and Ruby Rivers and nephew Jude Michael Haggard.
Doug loved hunting, fishing, thumping in the Blazer and racing Old Blue. Doug loved his family and friends with his whole heart and always had a smile and a hug for everyone. Doug was one of the greatest. Everyone who knew him, loved him, and he loved them in return. He will remain in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be held at the Wise Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Rickey Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Arledge Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, August 5, 2019.
Pallbearers will be Donte Harvey, Jeremy Vinsonhaler, Shane Patton, Levi Patton, Colton Keel, Logan Jacobs, Cody Lawrence and Ben Swindel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Airron Gasper, J.R. Vaden, Michael Parchem, Randall Bragg, Kris Gammon, Chris Williams and Jose Villarreal.
