James "Jim" Glenn Thomas

Memorial services for James Glenn "Jim" Thomas, 57, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at Living Word Church of God under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Pastor John Chism will officiate. Jim passed away early Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at his residence.

Jim was born March 16, 1958 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Grady William Thomas and Mary Elsie Woodson Thomas. He was a 1977 graduate of Bonham High School. Jim was the former owner/operator of Jim's Paint, Body & Glass Shop and later was a truck driver. He attended Living Word Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Thomas Hicks.

Jim is survived by his wife, Debra Kay Goodwin Thomas of Bonham, Texas; two sons, Glyn Thomas (Skye) of Sumner, Texas and Hestin Johnston of Palestine, Texas; three daughters, Lauren Thomas (fiance, Colby Patton) of Bonham, Texas, Lanie Johnston (Jack) of Oakdale, Louisiana and Chandler Johnston (Jeremy Morris) of Bonham, Texas;
brother, Charlie Thomas (Marian) of Bonham, Texas and their children, Cory Thomas (Lindsey) and Bryan Thomas; niece & nephews (Susan's children), Kristina Nelson (Cody), Jared Hicks (Anna) and Eric Hicks(Heather); three grandchildren, Aiden James Morris, Jensen Glynn Thomas, and Mason Thomas Johnston; sisters-in-law, Doris Whitworth (Charlie) of Savoy, Texas, and their children, Krystal Brannum, Matt Brannum and Kaylea Whitworth; Lea Dawnette Faulkner (Shon) of Telephone, Texas and their children, Colby Faulkner (Ashley) and Aaron Faulkner, and Keri Deronda Goodwin of Bonham, Texas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Diana & Frank Neighbors of Bonham, Texas; father-in-law & mother-in-Law, Jack & Regina Goodwin of Bonham, Texas; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Chaffin, Cody Herndon, Jared Hicks, Ronnie Callahan, Greg Sadler, Colby Patton and Don Stockton.

Memorials may be made to Women Rock.
