Jackie Virginia Lindsey

Jackie Virginia Lindsey, 72, of Dodd City joined her heavenly Father on August 12, 2023.

Jackie was born on July 18, 1951 to Joe and Evelyn Wilcox in McKinney, Texas. Jackie graduated from Bonham High School in 1971. Jackie married Jerry Lindsey on October 27, 1973. She worked at Schlumburger for 20 plus years and retired from the VA in 2018. After her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and enjoying her grandchildren's activities. Jackie was loved by all that knew her and she was our angel here on earth. She shared her joy with everyone she met.

Jackie is survived by her husband Jerry Lindsey, sons Clint Lindsey and wife Shanna, Chad Lindsey and wife Wendi, grandchildren Kendyl Lindsey, Carson Lindsey, Brailee Lindsey, Cambrynn Allen, Landon Allen, brothers, Charles Wilcox,  Jerry Wilcox, sisters, Helen Wilkerson (Jr), Sandra McLain (Kelly), June Woodruff (Don), Carolyn McMurry, brother and sister in law, Jackie and Judy Lindsey, a special cousin Saundra Brown, a special Uncle Leon Coonrod, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Evelyn Wilcox, mother and father-in law,  Anna Belle and Ted Lindsey, brother,  Larry Wilcox, sisters, Peggy Davidson, Lou Ann Brumble, and Wanda Jones.

A graveside service will be held at Dodd City Cemetery on Wednesday,  August 16, 2023 at 10:00am in Dodd City, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please  donate to Dodd City Baptist Church or the Dodd City Cemetery.
