Cremation services were held for J. D. Taylor, 87, of Bonham who passed away early Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at a future date. Wise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
J. D. was born January 11, 1925 in Mead, Oklahoma, the son of Elmore Bud Taylor and Dona E. Gentry Taylor. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII (7/28/1943 – 12/24/1945). J. D. married Eula Fay Quillin who preceded him in death May 1, 2006. He later married Yvonne Jane Ely, May 1, 2007. J. D. was a roofer in construction and worked in Arizona and Texas. J. D. was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Kerry Taylor and brother, D. J. Taylor.
J D. is survived by his wife, Yvonne Jane Taylor of Bonham, TX,
1 daughter, Monica Taylor of Bonham, TX, stepdaughter, Sandra Bahe and husband, Terry of Coleman, OK,stepsons, Mark Donica and Matthew Donica and families,
Brother, Jack Taylor of Phoenix, AZ, Grandchildren, Cara Laraby, Chad Nixon, Kyle Taylor, Kelli Taylor, Nicole Wood, Robert Wood and Joseph Donica (who aided in his home care), numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
