A private memorial service was held for Imogene Marley Maxwell, 96, of Bonham who passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Imogene was born August 19, 1919 in Mart, Texas the daughter of Scales Pete Marley and Ethel Burney Marley. She was a graduate of Mart High School and Draughon's Business College in Dallas, Texas. Imogene married Mac E. Sudderth who preceded her in death June 21, 1970. She later married Arthur Maxwell who also preceded her in death. She was a member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church and a great supporter of numerous charities. She worked for the Bonham Stock Yards for a number of years and was an accountant for Mac Sudderth. Imogene served many years as Secretary-Treasurer for Sam Rayburn Library, First Presbyterian Church and the Leonard Cemetery Association. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Imogene is survived by her son, Michael Craig Sudderth and wife, Sheila of Port Aransas, Texas; daughter, Kasandra "Sandy" Wright of Bonham, Texas; sister, Dorothy Harrison of Temple, Texas; four
grandchildren, Chris Broiles, Cody Sudderth, Matt Sudderth and Ryan Sudderth and six great grandchildren.
