Holly Ann Shelley

A private memorial service for SFC (Ret) Holly Ann Shelley, 63, of Bonham, will be held at a future date.  Cremation arrangements are under the care of Wise Funeral Home.  Holly passed away early Friday morning, Sept. 24, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

Holly was born Feb. 7, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Robert Shepard and Betty Latta Shepard.  She was a graduate of Bel-Air High School in Maryland and attended college for two years.  Holly married John David Shelley on August 24, 1984.  She was a retired United States Army veteran and the office manager for the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce.  She later worked as the administrative secretary for the Bonham State Park.  Holly was a member of the Bonham Kiwanis Club and an avid book reader.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Robert Shepard.

Holly leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, John David Shelley; three sons, Andrew Shelley and girlfriend, Taylor Roy of Calera, OK, John W. Shelley of Georgia, and Matthew D. Shelley of Florida; one daughter, Sally Shelley of Georgia; a brother, Timothy Shepard of Maryland; a sister, Susan Payton of California; six grandchildren, Ryen Shelley, Tacen Roy, Alekzander Wolcott, William Shelley, Wade Shelley and Matthew Shelley, Jr.; extended family and friends.
