Hollis Joe Daniels

Graveside services for Hollis Joe Daniels, 84, of Ravenna will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in Arledge Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Burt will officiate. Hollis passed away Sunday morning, July 23, 2017 at his residence.

Hollis was born Dec. 10, 1932 in Ada, Oklahoma, the son of Darius Daniels and Bessie Holly Daniels. He married Dora Oleta Busby on June 5, 1984 and she preceded him in death Jan. 31, 2011. Hollis was a hard worker retired from the maintenance department for the City of Bonham. He loved his dog, Choc and enjoyed gardening and going fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Debbie Darlene Daniels and a brother, Darren Lewis Daniels.

Hollis is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce Little (Roger) of Howe, Texas and Shirley Arrington (Tim) of Gunter, Texas; 3 sons, Clinton Daniels (Janet) of Sherman, Texas; Hollis Daniels, Jr. (Lorrie) of Tiogo, Texas and David Daniels (Kim) of Ada, Oklahoma; Sister, Joyce Wall of Houston, Texas; Grandchildren, Amanda Schindler, Tim Arrington (Janica), Heather Cannon, Amber Arrington, Tarah Arrington, and Clinton Daniels, Jr. (Laura); Great Grandchildren, Landon Daniels, Bailey Daniels, Trenton Ramsey, and Isley Rae Little; A number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Clinton Daniels, Clinton Daniels, Jr., Hollis Daniels, Jr., Roger Little, Timmy Arrington and Justin Little.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until service time Wednesday.
