Helen Marie Rosenbaum

Private Graveside services for Helen Rosenbaum, age 81 of Bailey, TX will be held at Arledge Ridge Cemetery in Bonham, TX, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Ellis. Helen passed away on May 5, 2018. She was born November 10, 1936 in Columbus, AR to J.T. Jeanes and Ruth Hipp Jeanes.

Helen married Bill Boyd Rosenbaum on January 18, 1957 in Saratoga, AR.  She graduated from High School in Hope, AR, and later received her Associates in Elementary Education from Texarkana Junior College.  Helen worked for the Dallas ISD for 20 years before her retirement.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 852 in Bonham.  She enjoyed needlework, crocheting and she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bailey.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bill Boyd Rosenbaum on October 28, 2010; parents, J.T. Jeanes & Ruth Jeanes; granddaughter, Jessica Nicole Rosenbaum.

Surviving are her two sons, Johnny Rosenbaum and Helen of Diana, TX and Paul Gaston Rosenbaum of Leonard, TX; daughter, Patti Ellis and husband Rev. Steve of Taipei, Taiwan; eight grandchildren, Hannah, Brian, Molly, Wesley, Michal Ann, Bethany and Lorielen; twelve great-grandchildren, Teagan, Leah, Olivia, Behr, Sage, Titus, Eliza, Gabe, Rock, Baby Henshaw, Dylan, Scarlett and Sonny; and sister, Patricia Creel of Fort Worth; .

An open visitation will be available Monday, May 7, 2018 until 8:00 PM at Wise Funeral Home.
