Helen Carter

Helen Carter entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 13, 2025.

Helen was born on March 21, 1936 in Ravenna, TX to Henry and Mittie (Cobb) Carter. She was the sixth of eight children. From an early age Helen received Jesus as Lord of her life. Helen never had children of her own so helping raise her nieces, nephews, great and great-great were the highlight of her days. She always cooked as if cooking for an army. Helen had a plethora of occupations from hair stylist, machinist, to healthcare giver. Helen will forever be missed by all of those left behind. She is survived by sister, Doris (Carter) Rayford McKinney, and all of her nieces and nephews. Helen is preceded in death by father Henry Carter, mother Mittie Carter, brothers, Jack, Eddie, Joe, Nathaniel, James, and Leeman.

Please join the family at Wise Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm for family night. A memorial service for Helen will be Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11am in the Chapel of Wise, 219 W. Sam Rayburn Dr. Bonham, TX 75418.
