A family gathering will take place at Wise Funeral Home from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday, July 12, 2014 for Grace Maxine "Mickey" Nielson, 70, of Bonham. A memorial tribute will be presented by Terry Paul Cunningham. Family and friends are welcome.
Grace Maxine "Mickey" Nielson left her earthly body early on Friday, July 11, 2014. She was born to Command Sgt. Major Dwayne George Nielson and Cleora Maxine Stephens Nielson on August 3, 1943 in Greybull, Wyoming. Growing up as an "Army brat", she enjoyed her travels throughout the U.S., Germany and France. Mickey had a love for life, her family and her friends. She spent many years raising Arabian horses and had a passion for all living creatures. Her spunk and zest for life followed her everywhere. She is proceded in death by parents, Cleora Larson, Dwayne Nielson; grandparents, Grace & Ira Stephens; great niece and nephew, Steven and Melissa Kenyon and great nephew, Zachary Hodge.
Surviving are her sister, Waynette Kenyon of Temple, TX; nephews, Tim Kenyon of Oregon and Damian Kenyon and wife, Jean of Waco, TX; nieces, Christeen Wilson and husband, Cade of Honey Grove, TX, and Mirra Horton and husband, Joel of Temple, TX; great nieces and nephews, Timothy Kenyon of Wyoming, David, Mauren, Coleman and Aubrey Wilson of Honey Grove, and Christian and Calleigh Horton of Temple, TX.
