Thursday, January 7, 2021, Glenda Fay Lowe went home to be with the Lord. She passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Those by her side were her husband, Edward Lowe, her son, Charles Lowe, and her daughter, Mylissa Kay Messer.
Glenda is preceded in death by her father, Leo C. Smith and her mother, Gladys Stewart Smith.
Glenda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward H. Lowe of Bonham, TX, her son, Charles Edward Lowe and his wife, Jackie of Chandler, TX, her daughter, Mylissa Kay Messer and her husband, Rick of Lynn Haven, Florida; her brother, Charles Douglas Smith and his wife, Phyllis of McQueeny, TX; her sister, Helen Barrett and her husband, Lee of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren, Holly Hewitt, Jordan Mather, Kelsey Taylor, Aaron Glaser, Tommy Lowe, Kristin Schonfeld and Alyssa Messer; five great grandchildren, Lexi, Jeannie, Lane, Judah, and Levi; extended family and friends.
Glenda was an avid reader, an accomplished seamstress and loved fishing and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Due to Covid-19, the family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Glenda in her home on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm for immediate family only. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep everyone safe.
