Glen Dale Clark Sr

Glen Clark went to be home with the Lord and his loving wife Gerllene on May 30, 2017. He was born November 23, 1935 in the Hail Community, Texas to Ray Clark and Winnie Mae Turman Clark. He enjoyed playing guitar and mandolin, playing in several Blue Grass bands over the years, and also buying and selling guitars. He also loved telling jokes. While in the US Air Force he spent time in Alaska and Japan. Glen was a loving daddy and papaw.

Preceding him in death were his wife of 58 years, Gerllene Clark; parents, Ray Clark & Winnie Clark and brother, James Clark.

Surviving are his daughter, Tammie Hayes of Bonham, TX; sons, Dale Clark Jr. of Telephone and Joey Clark and wife Heather of Ogden, UT.; grandchildren, Ashley Hayes, Stephanie Hall, Brianna Hayes, Jacob Clark and Courtney Post; great-grandchildren, Zoie Quinn, Phoenix Hayes, Madelyn Hall, Trayden Shade and Kaitlyn Clark. Other surviving family include, sister-in-law, Betty Clark of Bonham.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fannin County Family Crisis Center, 118 E Sam Rayburn Dr, Bonham, TX 75418. Private family services will be held at a later date.
