Graveside services for George Edwin Hansen, 67, of Bonham, formerly of Teague, TX will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin, Texas. Bro. Cletus Hall will officiate. Wise Funeral Home, 219 W. Sam Rayburn Dr., Bonham, TX is in charge of arrangements. George passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ in Sherman, TX.
George was born August 8, 1944 in Leadville, Colorado, son of George Leonard Hansen and Norma Lee Allison Hansen. He married Ina Jo Hughes (Edwards), July 16, 2005 in Bonham, TX. George was a US Navy veteran, and in his early years worked in the oilfields. For the past ten years, he has been employed as a truck driver. George was a member of Fannin Bible Baptist Church in Bonham.
George is survived by Wife, Ina Jo Hansen of Bonham, TX,Stepson, Charles Wright of Teague, TX,
Stepdaughter, Diana Moore of Teague, TX, Sister, Laurel Hansen of Union Star, MO,
Brother-in-law, Greg Wells of Teague, TX, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, Numerous nieces and nephews and two aunts.
