Geneva Lee Burns

Graveside Services for Geneva Lee Teel Burns, 66, of Ector will be held at 3:00 Monday, December, 7, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bells, Texas under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Larry Sowels will officiate. Mrs. Burns passed away on December 4, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center in Dension.

Geneva was born on May 14, 1949, the daughter of Georgeia Lee Teel and Mary Katherine Clouse Teel. Mrs. Burns went to school in Ector and was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church. She married Wilburn Burns in March of 1995, in Durant, Oklahoma. She loved to play board games with her husband. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Peggy Jean Teel Burns.

Geneva is survived by husband, Wilburn Burns; son, Roger Dale; daughter, Kimberly Jean; step-son, Steve Burns and wife, Nita; step-daughter, Tammy Murley and husband, Ronnie; brother, Ray Teel and wife, Tracey; sister, Deloris Jones and husband, Larry and many grand and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home, Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm.
