Funeral services for Gene Edward Ross, age 57, of Bonham will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Bonham under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gates Hill Cemetery. Pastor Willie Gillstrap will officiate. Gene passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Bonham.
Gene was born August 8, 1955 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Lawrence Edward Ross and Barbara Jean Ganther Ross. He was a Bonham High School graduate and served in the United States Army. He was a member of the New Life Church of God in Bonham. Gene enjoyed masonry, football, fishing, hunting, joking with his family and friends and cooking BBQ outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Roosevelt Ross, Sr., Millie Ross and John George Scott, uncles, John Henry Goodman and Billy Ray Ross, and aunt, Jean Mayberry.
He is survived by:
