Fridtjof Nansen Curtis, age 80, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, at Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas.

Fridtjof was born on July 21, 1944, in Wade, Oklahoma, to Earl and Minnie Curtis. He proudly served our country in the United States Army from August 1964 to August 1971. He married Joan Skinner on May 10, 1966. FN was a very private and somewhat introverted person, but loved his family and friends dearly. He also enjoyed driving and exploring. FN requested no funeral, ceremony, or fanfare. Family and friends are asked to honor him by keeping close the memories of the time spent together. Rest in peace quiet hero.

FN is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Minnie Curtis, wife Joan Skinner, and older brother Monroe Curtis. He is survived by daughter, Patty Vinson, sister Cindy DeLashaw and husband, Tommy, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
