Born and raised in West Texas, Frank attended school there and was actively involved in FFA, followed local sports with enthusiasm, and developed lifelong loves for gardening and animals. From an early age, he learned the values of hard work, faith, and loyalty, principles that shaped the rest of his life. As a father, Frank cherished time with his children, especially taking them on camping trips, fishing outings, and sightseeing adventures. Those trips created lasting memories rooted in laughter, learning, and togetherness. Later in life, Frank moved to California, where he worked for Firestone Tires, driving test vehicles as part of his career. Eventually, his heart drew him back home to Texas, where he went on to work for and retire from Air Liquide in Midland, Texas. Frank was a steadfast conservative Republican and a proud member of First Assembly of God in Bonham, Texas. His faith was not just something he professed, it was something he lived daily through kindness, conviction, and love for others. In his later years, Frank became an avid Facebooker, known for sharing his opinions and faithfully commenting on his children’s and grandchildren’s posts. His words, often signed with his familiar phrase, “Pa’s prowd of y’all,” were a constant reminder of his encouragement, humor, and unconditional love. Frank D. Zeitler leaves behind a legacy of faith, family devotion, and Texas pride. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
