Funeral services for Frances Nadene Hufford, 91, of Bonham will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at First Christian Church. Bro. Rick Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in Gober Cemetery. Nadene passed away early Wednesday morning, June 19, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Nadene was born December 5, 1921 in Gober, Texas, the daughter of Newton James Claxton and Monnie Smith Claxton. She attended schools in Gober and Bartley Woods. Nadene married Reed Allison Hufford on Oct. 5, 1946 in Bonham, and he preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Bonham. Nadene was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lindell Claxton and Glenis Claxton and two sisters, Marjean Odum and Sue Frailicks.
She is survived by a son, Dale Hufford and wife, Kitty of Amarillo, TX, daughter, Donna Aydelott and husband, Bobby of Gober, TX, brother, Wayne Claxton and wife, Joyce of Sherman, TX,
grandchildren, Micah Hufford, Angel Storrs and Jyl Hufford,
great grandchildren, J. R. Hufford, Cody Hogan, Whitt Hufford,Cayden Storrs, and Brylee Washburn, step grandchildren, Tracey and Keith, step great grandchildren, Zak and Blake, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Elders of First Christian Church will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 701 N. Main St., Bonham, TX 75418.
