In 1949 she married Richard Lovett who preceded her in death in 1975. They came to Texas from Florida in 1968 as a family of 6, and today there are more than 40 extended family members. Frances married Harless Weldon Campbell in 1978 at First United Methodist Church in Carrollton, Texas. After her retirement from Pearle Vision as a tinting tech, they moved to Bonham in 1983. Harless preceded her in death Sept. 1, 2000.
The births of all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren were very special milestones in Frances's life. She passed on to each of them the following: make a family history, raise your children well, volunteer your time to help others, and be grateful, happy and kind. Frances enjoyed traveling, volunteering at Fort Inglish Museum, and serving as a "Pink Lady" at Red River Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She also enjoyed social game nights with friends and family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bonham. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, by her sisters Barbara Fitz and Vivian Gordie, and by grandchildren Damian Lovett and Garrett Wagliardo.
Frances leaves behind to cherish her memories; two sons, Gary Lovett and wife Lynn of Carrollton, TX and Wayne Lovett and wife Donna of Killeen, TX; two daughters, Debbie Lovett of The Colony, TX and Nancy Lovett of Garland, TX; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
If she had the chance, Frances would want to say to those attending her service: Until me met again and Que Sera, Sera, whatever will be, will be.
