Fannie Marie Butler

Funeral services for Marie "Maw" Butler, age 74, of Telephone, TX will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2015 in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Henry will officiate. Burial will follow at Gober Cemetery. Mrs. Butler passed away on July 28, 2015, at Seven Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bonham.
Marie was born on February 2, 1941 in Flag Springs in Fannin County, TX, the daughter of Orville Frank Castle and Sallie Fannie Lassetter Castle. She attended school in Bartley Woods and Ladonia. Marie married Bobby Gerald Butler on April 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2004. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed cooking, playing BINGO, taking care of her children and visiting with her friends and family. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by 9 brothers, 9 sisters, and a son, Thomas Butler on November 28, 2004 and grandson Charles Wayne Littrell on Oct. 13, 1976.
She is survived by her sons, Gordon Butler (Shannon) of Telephone and Eddie Butler (Jennifer) of Ector; daughters, Kathy Littrell (Donald) of Telephone, Tina Howard (Richard) of Ivanhoe, Becky Herpeche (Jimmy) of Dodd City, and Nancy Franklin of Bonham; brothers, Bill Castle of Bonham, Earl Castle (Jeri) of Desota, TX, and Charles Castle (Pat) of Bonham; sisters, Lois Stailey of Commerce and Clois Smith of Savoy; Grandchildren, Jesse and Tabitha Littrell, Phyllis and Robert Godoy, Shelbi Butler, Casey Howard, Kamey Herpeche, Lexi Herpeche, Blake Herpeche, Savanna Butler, Jaxon Butler, John Phillips Trunzler II, Christian and Travis Cole, Ashley and Doug Willingham, Kaycee Butler, and Thomas Dalton Butler; Great-Grandchildren, Christopher and Kelly Littrell, Jeramie Thompson, RyLee Littrell, Aiden Godoy, Cleoie Godoy, and Reuben Willingham; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Jevin Thompson, Nolan Thomas Littrell, and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hauber, John Martin, David Castle, Michael Kinkade, Eddie Kaiser, and Randy Howard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Miller, Derral Tibbets, Randy Bliss, and Steven Richardson
The family will receive friends Friday, July 31, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel.
