Eula Grace Walls

Graveside services for Mrs. Eula Grace Van Hooser Walls, age 80, of Ivanhoe, will be be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Sandy Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Mark Posey will officiate. Mrs. Walls passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Mullican Care Center in Savoy.
She was born on March 8, 1935 in Ravenna, Texas, the daughter of William Oscar Van Hooser and Sarah Ledoah McAllister Van Hooser. She worked at the Garland Independent School District and married Mr. JW Walls on September 19, 1956 in Durant, Oklahoma. Some of her favorite hobbies were needle point, bird watching and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, William Eldon and Harley Van Hooser and sisters Alverta Wilson, Clotine "Tennie" Florence, Freda Goar and Maxine Dryden.
She is survived by her husband JW Walls of Ivanhoe, Texas; son, Johnny William Walls and wife Lori of Merit, Texas; daughter Connie Gammons and husband Jeff of Ivanhoe, Texas; brothers: Lyndell Van Hooser and wife Susan of Wolfe City, Texas and Charles Delane Van Hooser and wife Bea of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; grandchildren Justin and Lori Gammons, Josh and Kasey Gammons, Jacob Gammons, Christopher Brunson and Amanda, Grayson Holt; great grandchildren, Jaci Gammons, Jamie Gammons, Jaxson Gammons and Jagger Gammons; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Leon (Lois) Walls of Pallestine, Ernie (Beverly) Walls of Princeton, Patsy (Jimmy) Greenwood of Haltom City, and Doran Ann (Frank) Knight of Farmersville.
Pallbearers will be Justin Gammons, Josh Gammons, Jacob Gammons, Christopher Brunson, Grayson Holt and Dennis Dryden.
