Ervin Leon Wood

Ervin Leon Wood passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024 in Bonham, TX.

Ervin was born on August 26, 1949 to Irvin and Ruth Wood in Lexington, NE. Ervin will be fondly remembered for his hard work and dedication to his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. Ervin enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. Some of the fondest memories include spontaneous road trips. One weekend he took his family to see Mt. Rushmore and this trip will always hold a special place in the hearts of his children. Ervin loved camping and fishing too. He was most at home in the great outdoors. Ervin was stubborn and ornery yet this made him who he was and he was a one-of-a-kind.

Ervin is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Ruth Wood, and brother Randy Wood.

He leaves behind daughter, Sabrina Denton and husband Joseph,  son, Jimmy Wood and significant other, Noleen Tynan, grandchildren, Leon Denton, Travis Murray, Kayla Denton, Kylie Wood, Summer Wood, and Nathan Wood.
