Eloise Sisk

Bonham

A celebration of the life of Eloise Sisk, age 72, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 25, 2022, in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Bro. Mark Posey will officiate with burial to follow in the Willow Wild Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM Saturday prior to the services.  Eloise passed away at Texoma Medical Center in Denison on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Eloise was born on October 25, 1949, in Bonham, Texas the daughter of Laron Doyce Shepherd and Margaret Faye Dale Shepherd.  She married Mike Sisk on August 14, 1971, and they enjoyed their fifty year anniversary together.  She was a 1968 graduate of Gober High School and received her teaching degrees from East Texas State University in Commerce.  She taught Home Economics and Library Science in Bonham for 37 years.  She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Bonham and was also active with the youth programs at the First Baptist Church vacation bible school, and Seventh and Main Baptist Church, Meals on Wheels supporter.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping, reading and loved her get-togethers with the Gober Girls that she grew up with.  She was preceded in death by her parents and son Jamey Sisk, brother Laron Shepherd.

She is survived by her husband Mike Sisk of Bonham, son Jon Sisk and his wife Amber of McKinney, grandchildren, Hannah, and Hunter Sisk both of Whitewright, great grandchildren, Kaden Sisk and Halle Henderson, mother-in-law, Irene Sisk of Bonham, sister-in-law, Patti Renee' Shepherd, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of students that she taught and many friends.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the community and Hospice Plus for their great care.

Eloise loved her family and students that she taught.  Her smile will be remembered by all she encountered.  She was truly a Christian lady and will be welcomed into Heaven by Jesus Christ, Her Lord and Savior.
