Elodis Phylistine Phea

Elodis Phylistine Phea, 89, of Bonham, TX passed away at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

To know Elodis was to love her. She had this special ability to make those around her feel loved and enjoyed making everyone laugh. Her highest calling was being a home maker and raising her children, Willie, Nina and Lonell. She took great pride in cooking and sharing a meal with those she loved most. When she wasn't in the home you could find Elodis tending to her garden. She delighted in growing vegetables and beautiful flowers. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. A celebration of life service is Friday, January 17, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bonham, TX starting at 12pm.

She is preceded in death by parents, Albert Gregory and America Johnson, siblings, Dorothy Milton, Bobby Johnson, and great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Smith.

Elodis is survived by, children, Willie Phea, Nina Francis (Orlando), Royce Lonell Phea, siblings, Archie Johnson (Wanda), Niecie Gooden, Johnny Johnson (Helen), Gloria Johnson, Wanda Tolbert (Edward), grandchildren, Arthur Phea, Andre Smith, Jerry Mason, Alexis Phea, Royce Trenell, great-grandchildren, Noah Phea, Ari Phea, Jaqualla Mason, Jordan Mason, Shiquena Brown, Marshall Mason, Jabriel Brown, DeAndre Smith, Demetrius Smith, Madison Smith, Andre Franklin, great- granddaughter, JaMyrah Mason and many numerous nieces and nephews.
