Ellen Bradley of Plano, Texas passed away on December 9, 2017 after a short illness surrounded by her family and friends.
Inurnment memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 22nd, 2017 at Moores Chapel Cemetery in Fannin County, Texas under the direction of Wise Funeral Home in Bonham.
She was born on August 29, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Brent Goyne and Bert McGowan Goyne. She has one younger brother, Mike Goyne. The family moved to Texas when she was 4 and she grew up in Bonham, TX.
Ellen moved to Dallas and began a very successful career in accounting and small business resources. She received an MBA from Southern Methodist University in 1988 and was a graduate of Leadership Texas and Leadership America. She was the president and founder of The Bradley Group for 33 years. She served on the boards of the Dallas Women's Foundation, Leadership Texas Alumnae Association, Attitudes and Attire, the Dallas Summit, Galaxy Counseling Centers and was a founding member of The Women's Museum.
Ellen Bradley is preceded in death by her daughter Shannon Michelle Bradley (1984), her mother Bert Goyne (1999) and father Brent Goyne (2004).
She is survived by her husband Brian Buchan, of Plano, daughter Kelly Bradley of Dallas, son Tony Bradley and his wife Kim of Dallas, grandson Kyle Strickland of Dallas, brother Mike Goyne and his wife Ali of Austin, Texas, and nieces Lauren Goyne of North Carolina and Amanda Noyes of Dallas.
She was an inspiration and bright light to all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
