Dwight Carltonnee Mason, 74, departed our earthly home on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in his home. He leaves his brother, Earl Mason of Dallas, Texas; son, Alando Mason; 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Born and raised in Bonham, Texas, the son of Charlie Joe Erskin and Earl Mason, he was a lifelong resident of Bonham.
In his early years, he worked for Northeast Medical Center as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, where he later retired.
He received an honorable discharge from the United States Army. Dwight was an active deacon of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a Sunday School teacher and a willing servant who loved the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Earlyne, brothers, Charles Lee, Daniel, Charles Earl, Bobby Joe and Billy Joe.
The family will receive friends at Bethlehem Baptist Church at 10:00 AM Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM. Pastor Stuart Courtney will officiate. Wise Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
