Graveside services for Dorothy June Coonrod, age 82 of Bonham, Texas, will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, Texas, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Officiating will be Stephen Murden. Dorothy passed away on January 20, 2018. She was born August 30, 1935 in Bonham, Texas to Dave Lynch and Izora Morgan Lynch.
She was a 1954 Graduate of Bonham High School; a Case worker from 1990-1996 for the State of Texas; worked in the Personnel office and as assistant to Sr. VP of Financials at 1st International Bank Shares in Dallas for 9 years; Taylor Publishing - payroll supervisor for 6 years; De Rose Industries - Billing clerk for 8 years, and a Member of Calvary Baptist Church. She retired in 1996 from Dept. of Human services, Dallas and later moved back to Bonham from Irving, Oct. 8, 1998. Dorothy was preceded in death by her, parents, Dave Lynch & Izora Lynch and Sister, Barbara Lynch Anderson, Feb. 9, 1999 and brother David Lynch Jr., Nov. 27, 2005.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Leon Coonrod, brother, Terry Wayne Lynch of Terrell, Texas; Other surviving family include, 12 Nieces and Nephews, extended family and a host of friends
Memorials may be made to the Willow Wild Cemetery Association, the Calvary Baptist Church, or the Bailey Ranch Rescue, 2731 CR 2610 Bonham, TX 75418
