Graveside services for Mrs. Doris Jean Hale Robertson, age 67, of Odessa, Texas will be held at Fannin Memorial Gardens Cemetery Hwy 121 S. Bonham, TX at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 under the direction of Wise Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas. Mrs. Robertson passed away on April 27, 2013 at the Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas.

Mrs. Robertson was born on September 7, 1945, the daughter of Sidney Baxter Hale, Sr. and Willie Bell Taylor Hale. She was of the Baptist faith and worked at Champion Homes and General Cable and enjoyed her family and friends. She married George Collins Robertson on April 18, 1961 and he preceded her in death on July 6, 1982. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Don Wayne Hale and sister Barbara Wildberger.

She is survived by:
Sons: Jerray Robertson and Jason Robertson of Odessa, TX, Daughter: Sherry Mercer of Ft. Worth,TX, Brothers: Sidney Hale Jr. and wife Mary of Bonham, Jerry Hale and wife Beth of Bonham, Albert Hale and wife Peggy of Bonham, Sisters: Laverne Nelson and husband David of Boyd Community, Martha Compton and husband David of Yarnaby, OK, Vera Brown and husband Billy Ray of Honey Grove, TX, Grandchildren: Chad Mercer and wife Lydia, Christian Mercer, Ryan Mercer, Summer Mercer and Aaron Mercer and number of great grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Brian Compton, Steven Hale, Jerry Hale, Clint Hale, Nathan Hale, David Wayne Hale and Honorary Pallbearers will be Joshua Brown and Rob Owen.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 29, 2013
